We use as many plant-based and organic ingredients as possible in our formulas.
Cruelty Free
We do not test any of our products on animals. And COOLA is PETA certified cruelty-free.
Dermatologist Tested
All of our formulas are thoroughly tested under dermatologist supervision.
Hawaii Act 104 Compliant
At COOLA we never use Oxybenzone or Octinoxate in our formulas, ensuring that every COOLA product meets the requirements of the 2021 Hawaii Act (Act 104).
Organically Sourced Ingredients
Our Farm to Face® commitment ensures you know where the ingredients in our products come from—and that they support local communities and a healthier Earth. We choose our ingredients carefully, working closely with suppliers and farmers to ensure our ingredients are organically and sustainably farmed, preventing waterway pollution and soil erosion caused by conventional farming systems to mitigate the effects of climate change.

We’re conscious about what goes into our products, but we’re equally concerned with what we keep out. We follow a strictly restricted ingredient list that goes beyond industry standards to exclude over 1,600+ unwanted ingredients from all our formulations.

The formulation standards for every COOLA product go far beyond US and even international guidelines, including being European Union compliant. We use as many organic & plant-based ingredients as possible while excluding over 1,600+ undesirable ingredients––including oxybenzone, octinoxate, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances & many more. We do this because we want to create formulas you'll want to put on every day; products that are both good for you and free from anything questionable.
